About us
The Department of Specialized Linguistics and Didactics conducts research in specialized linguistics and the didactics of general and professional German language. The scientific and research interests of the staff include professional languages and professional and specialized communication in an international, intercultural and multilingual work environment, didactics of foreign and specialized languages, teaching and acquisition of foreign and specialized languages for general and professional purposes in concideration of the needs of modern labor markets, multilingualism in professional communication, training and professional development of teachers of foreign and specialized languages, analysis of models of cooperation between universities and the social and economic environment, analysis of the content of education and curricula aimed at modern labor markets, written and spoken language in professional and institutional contexts, specialized languages in translation and polytolinguistics.
