The event brought together students who came to the University of Lodz as part of exchange programmes, including Erasmus+ and bilateral agreements with partner universities, as well as those beginning full-time degree studies at UniLodz.
After a welcome from the team of the International Centre, it was time for a shared barbecue, games and activities prepared by UniLodz Erasmus Student Network. Above all, it was an opportunity to get to know one another, talk and make first connections even before classes began.
More Than 600 Exchange Students
In the academic year 2026/2027, more than 600 students participating in exchange programmes will study at the University of Lodz. They come not only from European Union countries, but also from, among others, China, Georgia, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Colombia, Mexico, Serbia, Taiwan, Türkiye and Ukraine. The largest number of them will study at the Faculty of Philology and the Faculty of Economics and Sociology.
One University, Different Perspectives
For them, studying in Lodz is not only an opportunity to gain knowledge but also to meet new people, discover different cultures and broaden their perspectives. From their very first days, every student becomes a part of the diverse and welcoming community of the University of Lodz.
We are delighted to have you with us!
