The following UniLodz researchers were included on this year's list of scholarship recipients awarded by the Minister:
- Dr Damian Łukasz Bębnowski in the field of social sciences, discipline: economics and finance;
- Dr Sebastian Czechowicz in the field of social sciences, discipline: law;
- mgr Natalia Monika Matiaszczyk in the field of social sciences, discipline: international relations;
- mgr Natalia Ewa Sławińska in the field of exact and natural sciences, discipline: biological sciences;
- Dr Kamila Kinga Żukowska in the field of humanities, discipline: literary studies.

The scholarships have been awarded for a period of three years, with a monthly value of PLN 5,390.
Applications for scholarships for outstanding young scientists demonstrating significant achievements in scientific activity were submitted by rectors of higher education institutions as well as directors of institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, research institutes and international institutes. This year, 1,640 applications were submitted to the Minister of Science and Higher Education. Their substantive evaluation was carried out by the Minister’s advisory team using a points-based assessment method within individual scientific and artistic disciplines. Based on individual expert evaluations, the team’s presidium submitted a resolution to the Minister containing ranking lists of applications from young scientists together with recommendations.
Two separate rankings were prepared for each discipline:
- for individuals holding a doctoral degree, academic teachers without a doctoral degree, and individuals preparing a doctoral dissertation in an external mode;
- for doctoral students only.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education awarded scholarships to 230 young scientists.
