Safety First!
Lumumbowo, home to the UniLodz Student Dormitories, is changing for you! It is not only about the student dormitories themselves, but also the green spaces that we know you enjoy so much. After all, they are perfect places to meet up, have a picnic after classes and spend time together. To make these areas even better and, above all, safer, we will be taking care of the estate’s trees during the summer.
“Look How Quickly Everything Changes”
Some of the trees in Lumumbowo require maintenance and pruning of overgrown branches. Seven of them, due to their advanced age and condition, are already dead and need to be removed. As Andrzej Sapkowski wrote, “Something ends, something begins”, so this autumn we will plant new trees in their place. This will rejuvenate the tree stand and ensure that you continue to enjoy shade around the estate on warmer days.
