Dr Jakub Doński-Lesiuk from the Department of Logistics and Innovations, University of Lodz has been awarded the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) grant for the implementation of a research project in Vietnam.

Dr Doński-Lesiuk will implement his project in Vietnam

The main objective of the research visit is to collect data to identify the state of adjustment of logistics infrastructure in one of the Asian destinations of China's economic expansion as part of the One Belt One Road concept, better known in Poland as "Nowy Jedwabny Szlak" [New Silk Road].

Dr Doński-Lesiuk's intention is to identify the scope of measures to increase the efficiency of logistic support for economic processes in the corridor running through Vietnam connecting China with Indochina regional markets (China-Southeast Asia axis) and to assess the degree of their implementation.

The research project as part of the NAWA grant provides for collaboration with experts from three scientific centres in Vietnam:

  • National Economics University, Hanoi;
  • Hanoi University of Transport and Communications;
  • University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City.

The project will run until June 2023.

We would like to offer our congratulations and wish Dr Doński-Lesiuk successful research!
