Applications for the 14th edition of the UniLodz Mentorship Programme are now open. This is your opportunity to build an individual developmental relationship with experienced graduates of our University who have gone on to achieve success in business, media, IT, law, PR, culture and public administration.
How Does Mentorship Work?
Mentorship is a six-month partnership based on trust. For six months, from January to June 2027, you will meet with your mentor for at least six individual sessions.
Meetings take place according to a schedule agreed between the two of you, either in person or online. During your first meeting, you will establish the rules of communication, define your goals, and create a meeting schedule.
What can you work on?
- defining your career goals and choosing a development path,
- gaining a better understanding of an industry, specific roles, and the realities of the labour market,
- developing soft skills, including self-confidence, communication, and professional relationship-building,
- consciously building wellbeing and resilience and planning future actions.
Who Is Waiting for You in This Edition?
As many as 35 mentors are ready to share their knowledge, experience and perspectives. The full list of mentors is available on the Programme website. They are an outstanding group of experts and practitioners, but above all, people with a passion for helping others develop and grow.
What Will You Gain from the Experience?
- a practical perspective and access to a realistic view of the industry that interests you,
- developmental feedback and constructive insight into your ideas and strengths,
- inspiration to take action. A mentor does not provide ready-made solutions but helps you develop your own approaches tailored to your values and capabilities.
Who Is the Programme For?
The Programme is open to all University of Lodz students, regardless of their faculty or year of study. You do not need a precisely defined career plan or a perfect CV. What matters most is your willingness to engage and your proactive attitude.
We are looking for curious individuals who are open to personal development and want to take charge of their future. If this sounds like you, the Programme is the perfect place to start.
I Want to Apply. How Do I Do It?
- Choose the Mentors You Would Like to Work With. Visit the Programme website, read the profiles of our experts and select up to three mentors with whom you would most like to collaborate.
- Complete the Application Form. Tell us a little about yourself and your goals. You will need to provide a CV and a high-resolution photograph. Applications are accepted until 15 November.
- Wait for the Decision. Your application will be forwarded to the mentors, who will decide which applicants they are able to support throughout their development journey. The list of mentorship pairs will be announced by 30 November.
Introductory Training and Six Months of Growth!
Receiving the email confirming your acceptance into the Programme is your ticket to action. What happens next? In December, you will receive a wealth of knowledge and practical tools during the introductory training session, which will help you make the absolute most of the mentorship experience.
From January to June 2027, you will take part in six months of intensive cooperation with your mentor.
