Accreditation of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority for the Study Programme "Financial Market – Investment Consulting"

We are pleased to announce that on 24 April 2023, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Lodz, Dr hab. Rafał Matera, Associate Professor, signed an agreement between the University of Lodz and the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (UKNF) represented by Rafał Mikusiński – Deputy Chair of the KNF Board for the accreditation of the "Financial Market - Investment Consulting" study programme. It will entitle its graduates to obtain an Investment Advisor License without the necessity to take an exam.

University of Lodz is the second university in Poland, after the Cracow University of Economics, to offer a unique study programme (Financial Market – Investment Consulting), entitling graduates, upon meeting certain requirements, to be entered on the list of licensed investment consultants without having to take three state examinations.

According to the information available on the official website of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, the number of persons authorised to practice the profession of a licensed investment advisor in Poland is currently 787.
