This guided tour is an opportunity to see works by Anka Leśniak, Basia Budniak, Karolina Wojtas, Filip Appel and Jerzy Grzegorski, created using archival photographs, artifacts and ready-made photographic objects. You can also hear the stories of nine people connected with our university over the years and in various ways and learn about the behind-the-scenes of the exhibition and aspects of the selected works. The artists themselves will provide insights, while Jolanta Sławińska-Ryszka and Maciej Andrzejewski will guide you through the exhibition.

However, that's not all!
One of the artists, Karolina Wojtas, walked miles around the University of Lodz campus while working on the exhibition. She took hundreds of photographs, which formed the photo installation "Czas-notatnik. Zeszyt dziwnego detektywa" [Time-Notebook. The Notebook of a Strange Detective] We know that Karolina continues her quest. Her work will continue to evolve, grow and Karolina will add new stories and explore new threads, occasionally wandering around the University of Lodz and continuing to take photographs.
Karolina Wojtas is a multidisciplinary artist whose work combines photography, installation and performance, creating spaces brimming with surprise, childlike imagination and spontaneity. For her, art is a never-ending play and experiment in which viewers become part of the experience.

It's no surprise then that on 8 August, during a guided tour, Karolina will appear at the Biedermann’s Palace and take portrait photos of those willing to take part in her crazy photo studio.
