The Faculty’s staff successfully realizes international grants and research projects which in turn make the transfer of knowledge and experience possible. Some of them are financed by the European Union while others get support from the Polish government. We cooperate with the universities from all continents: Europe, Asia, North and South Americas. Result of the cooperation you can find in the publications, books, articles and conferences’ materials. Our business partners help to create programs of study for students that ensure them a better matching into labor market.

In order to make the cooperation between education and business successful, the Business Council was founded.

The cooperation with our business partners involves:

  • the exchange of experiences between theorists and practicians
  • possibilities of students placements in the companies represented in the Council
  • promoting the most gifted students by means of scholarships and awards
  • promoting the best graduates (e.g. supporting their first job opportunity)
  • holding common conferences, workshops, seminars and lectures
  • gaining partners who help in co-financing projects, research, or infrastructure undertakings
  • realizing common educational projects and creating didactic programs

Among the members of the Business Council there are representatives of the business sector and public institutions, such as: Infosys (BPO Company), Philips, Comarch (IT Company), MBL Poland (Financial Institution), Polish Economic Society, Polskapress (Media), TVP Łódź (Media), (Media), mBank (Financial Institution), A&A (Jewelry Company), KASTOR (Men’s Outwear), TOYA Television (Media), Widzew (Soccer Team), Bawełna (Real Estate Company) and DVS (Leather Accesories).
